Axia Solutions celebrates ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted, joining top 5% of West Midlands training providers

1 min read

A Stoke-on-Trent-based training provider has achieved the highest possible rating by Ofsted placing it among just five per cent of independent training providers in the West Midlands with an ‘Outstanding’ rating.

Axia Solutions delivers programmes in the local area in business, leadership and management, facilities, manufacturing, ceramics, logistics and warehousing.

It specialises in apprenticeships, functional skills in maths and English, and bespoke workplace learning packages. All training is delivered in the workplace by industry-experienced functional skills tutors and apprenticeship trainers.

Ofsted recognised that ‘apprentices of all ages, backgrounds and abilities thrive and they feel highly valued, supported and well cared for’, citing that ‘apprentices returning to learning after extended periods are supported exceptionally well.’

Ofsted’s report also noted that ‘apprentices benefit from expertly sequenced curriculums’ and that apprentices with learning difficulties ‘are effectively supported to achieve their goals’.  This contributes to the very high achievement and attainment rates with ‘the large majority of apprentices achieving distinction grades.’

Commenting on the inspection, Victoria Harte, Managing Director at Axia Solutions, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive an Outstanding rating from Ofsted. This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our team, the strength of our employer partnerships, and our shared, core values of integrity, respect for others, honesty, safety, equality and inclusivity, value for money and professionalism.  It is also excellent for the area, building on existing education strengths.

“Whether we’re working with apprentices, upskilling teams in maths and English, or designing bespoke programmes, our goal is always to support real change for individuals, businesses and the education sector.”
