One of Stoke City Women’s most influential leaders on and off the pitch has been announced as the latest speaker for Let’s Do Business 2025.
Meg Bowyer will take to the stage at Staffordshire’s biggest business expo when it returns to Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday, 9 October.
And businesses are being urged to secure their free delegate tickets via the Staffordshire Chambers website.
Meg joined Stoke City Women at the age of 10 and went on to spend two decades with the club, captaining the side for 11 years and leading them to a treble-winning season.
Off the pitch, she played a pivotal role in helping the team become semi-professional, opening the door for the next generation of girls to pursue careers in football.
Since hanging up her boots, Meg has continued to inspire, now working in the Criminal Justice system for TKO, where she helps people leaving prison rebuild their lives and reduce reoffending.

At Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday, 9 October, Meg will share insights into leadership and resilience, and the lessons sport and community work can offer to businesses.
Let’s Do Business saw record attendance in 2024, and organisers are expecting this year’s event to sell out once again.
