A new funding initiative has been launched offering grants of up to £10,000 to SMEs across the district of Cannock.
Eligible businesses who have been trading for at least 12 months can apply to the Grants 4 Growth scheme to support capital investment, productivity improvements, and business innovation.
The programme is part of Cannock Chase Council’s 2025–26 UK Shared Prosperity Fund programme.
The grants are match funded with the council contributing 60 per cent toward eligible project costs and businesses providing a 40 per cent match.
Projects must be delivered and completed within three months of receiving the Fund Agreement, ensuring quick and effective investment into the local economy.
Funding available ranges from £1,000 to £10,000.
Dean Piper, Head of Economic Development and Planning said: “We’re committed to helping our local businesses thrive.
“Grants 4 Growth is about unlocking potential, stimulating innovation, and creating a stronger local economy.
“This funding gives SMEs the opportunity to invest in their growth and future, and we encourage eligible businesses to apply.”
