Premier Tax doubles technology investment

1 min read

An accountancy firm is doubling its investment into technology and automation to enhance client service and internal operations.

Premier Tax Solutions, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, is investing £12,000 into new technology over the next six months to make managing tax easier for their clients.

The company, based in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, offers services relating to all aspects of tax and VAT management, as well as payroll and book-keeping.

It will also be hosting free monthly webinars giving advice and support on all areas of tax management.

Director Vanessa Fuller said: “We are always looking to add value to our client’s experience and this investment will help us do that. Clients’ needs are changing and we need to ensure we’re working with them to meet those needs.”

Premier Tax Solutions was founded by Vanessa and friend and business partner Emily Precious who decided to go it alone after training together and then working for one of the UK’s top ten accountancy firms.

They started out in Hanley, have also had officer in Cheadle, and have grown their firm to a team of seven as well as having two consultants.

Vanessa said their sustained growth and longevity is down to their forward-thinking mindset.

She added: “Outside of work myself and Emily have been through a lot individually so we both know how important it is to be happy and what’s important in life. We both bring that mindset into the office.

“We of course want our clients to be happy, and we pride ourselves on giving that personal service to each and every one of them. We certainly distance ourselves from the misconception that accountants are stuffy or can’t have a laugh. We always get the job done but build up a good rapport with our clients in the process. Business is built on good, trustworthy relationships and that’s the same ethos we have with our staff.”

Staff are given the flexibility to work away from the office when needed which Vanessa says helps to attract the best workforce.
