A fast-growing UK chicken brand is expanding in Staffordshire – creating more than 20 new jobs with the opening of two new stores.

Wingers, which currently has 18 sites serving dishes including chicken tenders, wings, burgers and wraps, is set to open in Rugeley on 27 October and in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent on 3 November.

The Rugeley store will be located on Horse Fair while the Trentham one will be based in a former hair salon unit at Trentham Lakes District Centre, off Stanley Matthews Way.

Wingers co-founder Amran Sunner said: “We’re very excitied to be expanding in the local community and bringing more bold, fresh flavours to Staffordshire.

“This launch is another big step in our mission to bring proper chicken to every local neighbourhood in the UK.”

Wingers already has sites in Hednesford, Stafford and Lichfield and further away in places such as Worcester, Sittingbourne and Bristol.
