Financial services firm IronMarket scooped two top titles at an awards ceremony recognising the UK’s top performing wealth managers.
The company, which is headquartered in Newcastle-under-Lyme, was the only one to be shortlisted in four out of a possible five categories at the Citywire Wealth Manager Investment Manager Awards 2025, mostly attended by London-based firms.
It won the award for Best Cautious Portfolio and was named Best Small Firm.
Wes Wilkes, CIO & CEO of IronMarket, said: “To be recognised alongside industry giants such as AJ Bell, Quilter and Marlborough, who manage billions of pounds in assets, with teams in the thousands, makes this an especially proud and monumental moment for us – and for our region.
“We were the only regional firm on the shortlist, proudly putting Staffordshire on the investing and wealth management map. We’re very passionate about where we are from and championing the area in our London-centric sector.”
The awards are judged on three years of risk-adjusted returns, independently verified after all fees, costs, and VAT.
More than 200 firms entered, and data was drawn from more than 350,000 portfolios, making the competition among the most rigorous in the industry.
The finalists collectively represented firms managing more than £400 billion in assets.
Wes added: “We were the only firm whose performance meant a shortlisting in four out of five categories and winning in two categories, including Best Small Firm, is a milestone moment for IronMarket.
“It proves that size is no barrier to delivering world-class results. Our members trust us to manage their investments with discipline and care, and these awards confirm that our strategies stand above the very best in the UK market.”
