A digital marketing agency which started in its founder’s spare room is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a move to new offices.
Digital Defined Marketing has moved to Beaconside Business Village in Stafford from its previous base in Shire Hall – and has also expanded the team with three new roles including SEO executive, social media manager and web developer.
Founded in 2020 by Ben Clay, the business delivers campaigns for clients that combine SEO, Google Ads, content and web development.
Over the past five years the business has also invested in professional equipment, from cameras, lighting and drones to recording technology and advanced software, to offer clients video, creative and technical services alongside improved sales tools.
Digital Defined Marketing is now planning to work with local colleges to provide T Level work placements, supporting the next generation of marketers.
Ben said: “Our approach is simple: businesses don’t need jargon – they need measurable results. We have supported training providers to fill courses, professional services businesses to generate consistent new business, and companies in manufacturing, construction and property to increase enquiries and sales.
“The move to Beaconside gives us the space to expand our team and keep providing hands-on, practical marketing that makes a difference.”
Client Katie Hughes, director at Uttoxeter-based Highwood Motorhomes, has been working with Digital Defined for a year, focusing on SEO growth and Google Ads for lead generation.
She said: “We hit our 2025 goal by summer and have seen consistent progress since. The team’s enthusiasm and genuine interest in our business is clear throughout, proactive, reliable and results-focused.”
The agency is hosting a celebration event at the Emerald Lounge Bar, Beaconside Business Village, from 3.30pm on 6 November 2025 with a free drink and cake to anyone who wants to attend.
