Businesses across Staffordshire are being given the chance to build their confidence with artificial intelligence (AI) thanks to a new training programme launched by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.
The Chamber AI Academy, created in partnership with PAIR (Precision AI Resources), aims to help local firms understand how AI can be used in everyday work from streamlining routine admin to improving customer service and supporting marketing campaigns.
The programme launches with a free Discovery Breakfast at Commerce House, Festival Park, on 2nd December 2025. Business owners and managers are invited to learn how the Academy operates and hear real success stories of AI being used effectively in small and medium-sized enterprises.
Although AI continues to dominate headlines, many companies still say they feel unsure where to start. The Chamber says the Academy is designed specifically to remove that barrier, offering practical training without any need for specialist technical knowledge.
Chris Plant, Interim CEO of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce said: “There is a lot of noise around AI at the moment and that can be overwhelming for businesses who are already juggling a hundred other priorities.
“The Chamber AI Academy is about cutting through that noise and showing businesses what’s actually useful.
We want to give local firms the confidence to try new tools, ask questions and see how AI can genuinely make their working lives easier. This isn’t about chasing trends, it’s about practical improvements that lead to growth.”
Interest in the launch event has been strong, with limited tickets left. However, the Chambers is encouraging businesses to register interest for additional dates, which will be announced soon.
