A Tamworth engineering firm has expanded its workforce by 20 per cent.

Excitation control system specialist Excitation & Engineering Services (EES) has welcomed five new engineers, supporting its continued growth across the UK.

Two of the new arrivals will be based at EES’s Tamworth headquarters while the other three will join the newly opened Inverness office.

The five represent a mixture of recent graduates and engineers with decades of hands-on experience.

Director Ryan Kavanagh said: “We welcome new starters that bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to EES. These appointments strengthen our position as the leading independent provider of excitation expertise for our customers in the UK and overseas.

“By expanding our team, we’re ensuring we can build long-term careers while contributing to the maintenance and expansion of critical energy infrastructure.”
