Engineering specialists Fletcher Moorland have become an Authorised Partner of international manufacturer Nidec Drives.
The Stoke-based company can now directly supply the complete Control Techniques inverter range, with faster supply and improved product availability, as well as technical guidance from their experienced team.
The partnership, which took effect on 1 December, marks another step in the long-standing relationship between the two companies.
Managing director Matt Fletcher and operations director Di Bouchier visited Nidec Drives’ UK head office to finalise the agreement and receive an Authorised Partner plaque.
Matt said: “The Control Techniques brand has been a common sight in our workshops since the mid-1980s with their early variable speed units. While primarily our business was focussed on repair and refurbishment, the need to upgrade and retrofit drive units to support our customers has grown in recent years.
“Familiarity of the CT product with our engineering team means that we can either provide units from stock, or plan in an upgrade of older drives with ease. I’m proud that we are an Approved Nidec Drives Partner and this partnership will strengthen our service offering to our customers.”
