Businesses across the county now have access to a state-of-the-art WhatsApp service thanks to a new initiative launched by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.
The organisation has become one of the first Chambers in the UK to introduce a fully AI-enabled WhatsApp communication channel, offering round-the-clock access to events, funding updates, training opportunities and Chamber support.
Available to join immediately, the service gives businesses a simple way to receive tailored updates while also asking real-time questions about Chamber activity and services.
Chris Plant, Interim CEO of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “Our priority is making life easier for local businesses, and this new AI WhatsApp service does exactly that.
“It gives members instant answers, clearer communication and a much faster way to stay connected with everything happening at the Chamber.
“We are proud to be leading the way within the UK Chamber network — showing how AI can be used practically, responsibly and in a way that genuinely benefits businesses.”
Nathan Smith, Managing Director of We Are Gabba, who supported the Chamber with the development, added: “Meta only recently opened up WhatsApp for AI integration, so this is incredibly fresh technology.
“Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce are ahead of the curve, acting faster and more innovatively than most membership organisations in the country.
“We’re delighted to help create a tool that brings real value to local firms.”
The AI WhatsApp service is free for all Chamber members and is available to join now.
