Accountancy firm DPC has increased its footprint in the East Midlands by expanding into Nottinghamshire.

The Stoke-on-Trent-headquartered company, which was acquired by mid-market accountancy practice Sumer Group in 2024, has joined forces with Jacksons Chartered Certified Accountants, which has rebranded as DPC Jacksons.

Michelle Coates, Managing Partner at DPC, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jacksons to DPC and the Sumer Group.

“Their excellent reputation and strong client relationships in Nottinghamshire perfectly complement our mission to champion SMEs throughout the UK.

“This merger represents another significant step in our ambitious growth strategy.”

Jacksons director Julian Jackson said: “Joining DPC, part of Sumer Group marks an exciting new chapter for our firm.

“Our clients will benefit from enhanced service capabilities while maintaining the personal relationships and local knowledge they value.

“We’re proud to join an organisation that shares our commitment to supporting SME businesses and the communities they serve.”
