A Stoke-on-Trent training provider has launched a new apprenticeship aimed at helping businesses develop in-house AI skills and boost productivity.
The new level 4 apprenticeship in artificial intelligence, developed by Axia Solutions, working with Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Institute of Technology, offers a practical, work-based route for employees to gain applied AI skills, helping organisations make better decisions, automate processes and make the most of their data.
Axia Solutions is hosting a free online discovery session about the new programme on Friday, 30 January, at 11am. The session will offer insights into how AI can be applied to real business challenges, what the apprenticeship includes and how funding can support upskilling and talent development.

Victoria Harte, pictured above, managing director at Axia Solutions, said: “AI is no longer a future ambition – it is a present-day business necessity.
“This apprenticeship is designed to help employers develop the capability they need in a practical, responsible and cost-effective way. By embedding AI skills within the workforce, organisations can innovate with confidence while making the most of available apprenticeship funding.”
