New managing director at Leek medical device company

1 min read

Specialist medical equipment provider Central Medial Supplies (CMS) has appointed a new managing director.

Tracey Pavier-Grant has been promoted to the role after 14 years with the Leek-based company, previously working as medical sales director and, more recently, sales and marketing director.

In her new position, Tracey will oversee the day-to-day running of CMS and support chairman Philip Champ in guiding the company’s strategic direction. Tracey’s appointment follows a change to the leadership structure of CMS, which will remain a privately-owned business.

Tracey said: “I’m looking forward to continuing to work with the great team we have at CMS.

“Over the past 35+ years, CMS has built strong relationships with suppliers and customers alike, to become the trusted, reliable supplier we are today. Being a small organisation, we can be so much quicker to respond to our customers’ needs, and I love being able to rapidly turn around requests, to make our customers’ lives a lot easier.

“I have always loved helping develop our team and take pride in watching people advance in their roles so they can look after our customers to the very best of their ability. I’m excited to oversee the running of CMS and look forward to developing the business further in the forthcoming years.”

CMS specialises in providing hospitals with an innovative range of medical devices, predominately in the areas of critical care and neonatal. The company also supplies baby and maternity products.
