“Pure gold for company reputation”: Businesses urged to grab the spotlight as Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards applications open with exciting new twist

1 min read

Applications are now open for the 2026 Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards, which return to Uttoxeter Racecourse in July with a brand-new theme.

The awards, which are the longest-established and most prominent in the region, recognise businesses across all sectors for their achievements, innovation and contribution to the local economy.

Baddeley Green-based kiln specialists Kilncare have called on businesses to submit a free application, after reporting a ‘buzz through their workforce’ when they were named Small Business of the Year last year.

Lee Sherwin, their Managing Director, said: “Entering for the Chamber Awards was really simple, straight forward and quite possibly the best thing that we ever did.

“Winning Small Business of the Year 2025 sent a buzz through our workforce that you could physically feel. This award is not your normal run of the mill award. It is the real thing and to be able to advertise and promote yourselves as Staffordshire Chambers winners is pure gold for company reputation and status.

“Considering it was so simple, the rewards for winning are massive.”

Organisers have confirmed a brand new theme for 2026.

THE AFTER PARTY will see finalists, winners and sponsors take to the dancefloor to celebrate business success in style.

Staffordshire Chambers Deputy CEO Tom Nadin said: “We’ve listened to businesses who told us they wanted the celebrations to go on later into the night.

“These awards are the county’s largest and longest-running, celebrating the hard work, creativity, and achievements of local companies.

“It’s our flagship event of the year and draws a truly diverse mix of businesses. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to this year’s ceremony.”

There are a total of 15 award categories, from Start-up Business of the Year to Large Business of the Year, including the overall Business of the Year.

Applications are free to submit via Awards platform, here.

A limited number of sponsorship packages are also available for businesses interested in raising their profile at the event. For more information, email karena.pawlak@staffordshirechambers.co.uk
