Cameron Homes has appointed a new sales director to target £100 million turnover in 2026.

Sarah Sargeant has joined the Chasewater-based company from fellow housebuilder Hayfield where she accrued experience across the residential, luxury and new homes sectors.

At Cameron Homes, she will be responsible for leading a 12-strong team across the firm’s seven live developments and give others due to be launched this year.

Part of the Tara Group, Cameron Homes is on track to construct over 200 homes during 2026, and to achieve a turnover in excess of £100 million, with a target of passing the £140 million turnover mark by 2030. To aid this expansion, there is a £36 million pot to fund new land acquisitions across central, East and South Midlands.

Guy Bebbington, managing director of Cameron Homes, said: “Bringing Sarah on board is instrumental to our growth and sales strategy, to ensure this 32-year-old-business achieves its full potential. Her knowledge of the regional residential market and ability to drive sales will be a formidable asset to this fantastic family-owned business.

“Sarah will strengthen our senior leadership team, enabling us to work together to drive the performance of the sales department and hit our KPIs. Collectively, we will continue to grow Cameron Homes by staying true to our values: more homes, same heart.”

Sarah said: “I am excited to be joining such a well-established housebuilder that is so well known for prioritising customers and their individual home moving journeys. With seven sites open, plus five more to launch this year, I am proud to be working with such an experienced, forward-looking and dedicated team.

“Cameron Homes’ impressive land bank, consistently high build quality, and recognised brand is combined with the team culture, ethical and charitable priorities of the Tara Group to do good business. I am so pleased to be on board, especially at a time when house hunters are keen to buy energy-efficient new homes.”

  • Daily Focus reported last week that Cameron Homes has submitted an outline planning application for a £150 million, 430-home grey belt development in Burntwood. Read that story here.
