More than 120 vehicles are set to go on display in Stoke-on-Trent this weekend as computer retailer Overclockers UK hosts its latest community car meet.

The event will take place at the company’s headquarters on Festival Park on Saturday 23 May from 10am to 4pm, bringing together a mix of supercars, classic cars, American cars, sports cars and hot hatches.

Organisers are expecting more than 120 vehicles to attend including several McLarens, Corvettes from multiple generations and a DeLorean.

Alongside the car displays, visitors will be able to try out the latest PC and sim racing hardware, take part in a hot laps challenge and browse exclusive deals on PCs, components and gaming peripherals. Food stalls will also be on site throughout the day.

Overclockers UK said the event reflects the long-standing crossover between PC enthusiasts and car enthusiasts within its community.

A spokesperson said: “Overclockers UK have a long history with car enthusiasts dating back to the very early days of the company. There is a huge crossover between PC enthusiasts and car enthusiasts, as if you like to tinker with your PC, you’re likely to develop the same obsession with cars.

“Our forums are also full of car enthusiasts – one of the biggest forum pages is dedicated to cars.”

Jay Hooper, Head of Digital at Overclockers UK, added: “Following the incredible success of our previous meets, we’re super excited to be back for our fifth official car meet at the Overclockers UK HQ.

“Community has always been at the heart of what OcUK is about and this event promises something for everyone – from the impressive lineup of high-performance and enthusiast cars on display to our immersive OcUKracing simulator rigs for those ready to put their skills to the test on the virtual track.”

People wanting to attend can register online, while owners interested in exhibiting vehicles can also sign up in advance
