A free event bringing together employers, training providers and support services to help people in part of Staffordshire is returning next month with a bigger and better line up.
Leigh Ingham MP will host the Summer 2026 Journey to Work Expo at Stafford College on Friday, 17 July.
Co-organised with Stafford JobCentre Plus, this year’s event builds on the success of last year’s Jobs Fair, which attracted hundreds of jobseekers and 31 employers.
An interactive programme has been arranged including workshops and careers talks.
The MP for Stafford, Eccleshall, and the villages, said: “Stafford is a place full of opportunity. GE Vernova is expanding and creating 400 new skilled jobs on our doorstep, and Stafford College has just been named one of only four Technical Excellence Colleges in the country. There are incredible places to earn and learn here.
“I want to make sure every young person has access to education, training, or employment – events like this are an important way of connecting people with opportunities, but it goes much further than that. I’m working with our businesses and college to help them to grow and create new opportunities education and employment.”
The event is open to anyone looking for work, apprenticeships or training. It is free to attend but sign up is required via this link.
Employers interested in taking part should contact leigh.ingham.mp@parliament.uk
