A new service has been launched offering businesses a free introductory consultation with specialists in intellectual property (IP) law.
Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub is collaborating with Withers & Rogers, one of Europe’s largest dedicated IP law firms, on the scheme for firms operating across sectors including AI automotive, pharmaceuticals and engineering materials.
Free one-to-one introductory calls aim to help businesses to identify if they have any potential IP opportunities or challenges.
The sessions are open to established businesses, start-ups and pre-launch entrepreneurs and will offer insight into key topics including patents, trademarks and designs and trade secrets.

“Our partnership with Withers & Rogers is an opportunity to provide businesses and entrepreneurs across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent with the chance to get an expert overview of the potential advantages and pitfalls of IP in relation to their product or service.”
