Tourism and hospitality businesses across the county are being encouraged to put themselves forward for the 2027 Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Tourism Awards.

The annual awards, now in their 13th year, celebrate the people and businesses which make up the area’s £2.7 billion tourism sector.

More than 20 awards are up for grabs, with categories for attractions, venues, accommodation businesses, restaurants, pubs, cafes and more.

Entries are free, and applications close on Monday, 6 September.

The awards scheme is organised by the Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) in partnership with VisitEngland and provides a route for winners to progress to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2027.

LVEP Chair Arthur Barnard said: “We’re all excited to be launching our 2027 awards competition which gets bigger and better every year.

“Last year saw the highest number of new entries to our competition which is great, engaging even more of the businesses in our fantastic county.

“The competition also provides an opportunity for Staffordshire businesses to recognise the hard work of their teams, and the only way for them to qualify for the national awards.”

Judging will take place between 1 September and 31 December, with the list of finalists announced in January. A black tie celebration dinner and awards ceremony will be held in March.
