1 min read

Staffordshire businesses will have access to a new coworking space on Cheadle High Street thanks to an investment by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.

The new Moorlands Members’ Lounge lounge is set to open next Monday, 13 July, and follows the success of the Chambers’ Members Lounge in Festival Park.

Open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm, the lounge features comfortable seating, quiet working areas and meeting spaces, and is free to use for Chamber members.

Stuart Elford, Chief Executive of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “The Members’ Lounge at Commerce House is an incredibly popular benefit for our members, providing a flexible space for everything from informal meetings to focused work between appointments.

“We’re delighted to be bringing the same concept to Cheadle, giving businesses in the Staffordshire Moorlands another place to connect, collaborate and work in a professional environment.”

Chamber members can access the facility by signing in on the tablet in the entrance area which will give them access codes to the building.

Tom Wilkinson, Staffordshire Moorlands President and Director of Beta Commercial Finance Limited, added: “This is a fantastic addition for the Staffordshire Moorlands business community.

“Having a dedicated Chamber space in the heart of Cheadle gives local businesses somewhere convenient to meet, work and build valuable connections.

“It’s another example of the Chamber investing in the area and supporting businesses to thrive.”

You can find the lounge at: Moorlands Members Lounge, 2/4 Cross Street, Cheadle, Staffordshire, ST10 1NP.

Please note the lounge is unstaffed, and due to the layout of the building, it doesn’t currently have wheelchair access.
