An accountancy firm has merged its two offices with other Staffordshire practices after becoming part of Sumer Group.
The Uttoxeter office of Philip Barnes Accountants has merged with Stoke-on-Trent’s DPC Accountants, which became part of Sumer in 2024. The company’s Tamworth office will join Jerroms, which is also part of the accountancy and professional services group.
The mergers are expected to expand the support available to small and medium-sized enterprises across the county.
Stephen Eardley, director at the Philip Barnes Uttoxeter office, said: “Becoming part of DPC enables us to enhance the support we provide to clients, particularly in areas where additional expertise and resources will make a meaningful difference.
