Promotional merchandise firm Brandily has taken up a new home in Stoke-on-Trent after success in a business competition.
The Scholar Green-registered company scooped the main prize – a premium 12-month hot desk space at co-working site Smithfield Works – at The Business Elevator Awards in June.
The new base will give Brandily, which launched in 2024, space to work and meet clients as the company continues to grow.
Founder and managing director of Brandily, Sarah Lilley and client operations and business manager Helen Lythall said: “Winning The Business Elevator has given us an incredible opportunity to accelerate Brandily’s growth.
“We’ll be using the workspace to collaborate, meet with clients, and continue expanding our team and services. We’re excited to build new relationships, raise Brandily’s profile and make the most of everything this opportunity has to offer.”
The Business Elevator was a collaboration between Smithfield Works, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Growth Hub and PR firm BabaBaboon.
It welcomes businesses of up to three years old to enter online and involved a pitching process.
TOJO’s Jamo & Naija – a Jamaican and Nigerian fusion catering business – and electrical services firm Woodward Electrical were highly commended by judges.
Brandily also won a 12-month Chambers start-up membership, a PR strategy session, and support from the Growth Hub.
Other prizes included business cards from Fenns, a Marcom Playbook from Chatty Duck Creative, and a brand new mobile phone from Complete Communications.
