Oktoberfest comes to Stone with new food, drink and music festival

1 min read

Stone is set to host a dedicated Oktoberfest this autumn thanks to the team behind the town’s popular food and drink festival.

Oktoberfest Stone will take place at Westbridge Park on Saturday, 3 October and aims to bring together local breweries and other businesses.

The adults-only event, held between 2pm and 10pm, will combine licensed bars, street food, and live music and entertainment.

Stone Food & Drink Festival board member Ed Stant said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring this brand-new event to Stone. Our annual food and drink festival has shown just how much appetite there is for great events that bring people together, support local businesses and create a real buzz around the town.

“Oktoberfest Stone will build on that community spirit while offering something completely new – a fantastic opportunity to get together with friends, enjoy great food and drink and celebrate right in the heart of Stone.”

The full music line-up and details of the bars and food traders will be announced soon.

Tickets are strictly limited and must be booked online in advance, with no tickets available at the gate.

Standard admission costs £20 per person, while VIP tickets are £25 and include access to an exclusive VIP area with guaranteed seating.

  • Oktoberfest originates in Munich, in Germany and was held for the first time in 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen. The Bavarian tradition is now celebrated globally.
