Barclays has expanded its corporate banking team across Staffordshire and the Black Country as demand for support increases.
Carl Beardon and Iain Nash have been appointed as relationship directors, and will be supported by Relationship Manager Chris Taylor.
Carl has spent the past 18 years at Barclays, holding a range of roles supporting local businesses, while Chris has been promoted after almost 20 years with the company.
Iain joins the company from NatWest with more than a decade of experience in various roles.
The team will work with businesses across Staffordshire, the Black Country, and Shropshire increasing Barclays’ coverage and access to locally based relationship banking.

The appointments come as signs of growing confidence can be seen among local firms.
Figures from Staffordshire of Chambers of Commerce’s Q2 Quarterly Economic Survey (QES), conducted in May, showed that 36.8% of firms reported increased domestic sales and a third recorded higher advance orders or bookings.
Results of the latest QES are due to be shared in Daily Focus later this week.
