Training provider Performance Through People (PTP) has been named among the UK’s top performers after achieving one of the highest apprenticeship success rates in the country.
The organisation, which has training centres in Cannock and Walsall, recorded an 88.9 per cent achievement rate in its Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship provision during 2024/25.
The result placed PTP first nationally among providers with comparable cohort sizes according to the latest Department for Education achievement data.
The Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship is aimed at people working in customer-facing roles, developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to build confidence and improve performance in the workplace.
The result comes alongside strong performance across the provider’s wider apprenticeship provision.
PTP recorded an overall apprenticeship achievement rate of 73.43 per cent in 2024/25, compared with a national average of 65.4 per cent.
Customer Service Practitioner was one of PTP’s five highest-performing apprenticeship standards, alongside Supply Chain Warehouse Operative, Lean Manufacturing Operative, Business Administration, and Learning and Development Practitioner.
Rob Colbourne OBE, CEO of Performance Through People, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be recognised as the number one Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship provider based on the latest achievement data.
“Behind every percentage is an individual learner who has worked hard to achieve their qualification, often while balancing the demands of a job and everyday life.
“We are incredibly proud of every one of them. This result is also a testament to our fantastic tutors and support teams, and to the employers who invest in their people and give our apprentices the opportunity to develop their skills in the workplace.
“Customer service is such an important skill for businesses across every sector, and our Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship gives people the opportunity to develop those skills while gaining valuable experience in the workplace.”
