Aspiring and growing entrepreneurs are being encouraged to sign up for a new series of business‑boosting workshops launching in Stoke‑on‑Trent.

Launch it Stoke-on-Trent are running a series of Start-Up Smarts Masterclass workshops, starting on 12 October. The free support programme designed for aspiring entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30 who want to launch, run and grow their own start-up.

The five-part series begins in October with other sessions running in November this year, and January, February and March 2027.

Organisers say the series is aimed at giving those who sign up expert insights, real-world tips and practical tools to help them succeed, whether they’ve just started out or already on their way.

The first session will see attendees learn from Andrew Hope of Hope Creative about how to develop a strong brand in a two-hour workshop at Longton Town Hall.

Gemma Bourne, Enterprise Manager for Launch it Stoke-on-Trent, said: “Every great business starts with an idea, but it’s the right support at the right time that turns that idea into something real.

“At Launch It Stoke-on-Trent, we provide subsidised workspace and fully funded start-up support, from one-to-one guidance and mentoring to training, funding access and networking, because we believe no young person should be held back by a lack of resources or opportunity.

“Our Start-Up Smarts Masterclass Series, kicking off this October with monthly sessions, is a reflection of that mission: free, practical, expert-led workshops designed to equip local 18 to 30-year-olds with the skills and confidence to build thriving businesses of their own, with more sessions to be announced soon.

“We can’t wait to welcome the next generation of Stoke-on-Trent entrepreneurs through our doors.”
