Delegates at this year’s Let’s Do Business expo will find financial advice somewhere unexpected: inside a Tesla.

Ironmarket, the award-winning Staffordshire wealth and investment planning firm, is bringing its ‘Wealth Wagon’ to Uttoxeter Racecourse this Thursday, 8 October, as part of Staffordshire’s biggest business expo.

With its falcon-wing doors raised, the Tesla will host free, informal drop-in sessions throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to speak directly with the Ironmarket team without an appointment.

Positioned in the tunnel between Hall A and Hall B, the Wealth Wagon will offer advice on both business and personal finances, covering areas including business protection, succession planning, retirement planning, investments and family finances.

Karena Pawlak, Head of Membership & New Business at Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “Let’s Do Business is about putting businesses in the room with the people, ideas and expertise that can help them move forward, so the Wealth Wagon is a great addition to this year’s event.

“Financial decisions can have a big impact on a business and the people behind it, so giving visitors the chance to have an informal conversation with experts, without needing to book an appointment, is exactly the kind of practical support we want to offer at the expo.”

Among the highlights will be keynote appearances from Jazmin Sawyers, the Stoke-on-Trent-born Olympian and Commonwealth long jump champion, and Melvyn Downes, former SAS Sergeant Major, author and star of Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Students from Stoke-on-Trent College will also be supporting the event, gaining hands-on experience of a major business event and meeting businesses from across the county.

Alongside the keynote sessions, visitors can meet hundreds of exhibitors, make new connections and explore the latest products, services and support available to Staffordshire businesses.

More than 1,000 businesses are expected to attend, with a limited number of free delegate tickets still available.

Let’s Do Business takes place at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday, 8 October.
