A North Staffordshire industrial estate is back to being fully let after welcoming four new occupiers – including a number of expanding businesses.
Staffordshire Paint Supplies, which began trading last year, has taken over a 1,250 sq ft unit at Brown Lees Industrial Estate, near Knypersley, double the size of its previous base.
It has been joined by Starling Bathrooms and Vulcan Facilities, who are both also undergoing expansion, and Biddulph Town Council has also just moved in.
The units they now occupy were vacated less than six months ago by two manufacturing firms who both went into administration.
The 22,000 sq ft industrial estate, which has 19 units in total, has been owned by Stoke-on-Trent-based multi-let industrial company Sandyford Properties for more than 30 years.
Asset Manager Charlotte Worthington said: “The site benefits from a strong local catchment for businesses within Biddulph and areas north of Stoke on Trent, where industrial supply is relatively limited. The estate has facilitated many businesses’ growth over the years as the units provide flexible space that is easy to combine as occupiers expand.
“Securing these leases is testament to Sandyford’s strength and depth in localised key geographic areas across the north west.
“Many of our tenants come into the Sandyford portfolio at Brown Lees Industrial Estate before moving onto to larger Sandyford units elsewhere as their businesses grow.
“For our new occupiers, this is only the first step in their growth and we are looking forward to supporting them for many years to come.”
