Inspired helps Waterworld Resort make a splash on national TV

UK leading indoor aquapark Waterworld has boosted its profile after commissioning a Stoke-on-Trent-based production agency to make its new television advert.

Inspired Film and Video was brought in to make the 30-second advert campaign for the summer holidays. It has featured on Sky TV and other versions have been used on social media channels and large urban digital billboards.

Shanie Chaudry-Goodall, Commercial Director at the Festival-Park-based Waterworld Resort, said: “Summer is a key time of the year for any visitor attraction and although everyone knows we have a fantastic offer we wanted to highlight that we are a resort offering a full day out, for everyone whatever the weather.

“We not only want to showcase our 33 attractions including our newest and most extreme ride Thunderbolt (the UK’s first trapdoor slide) but we also wanted to promote our recent additions to the resort – Adventure Mini Golf and Adventure Mini Village.”

She added, “It was important for us when tendering out our TV advert that we worked with local suppliers who could work on a national advertising campaign. Fortunately for us, Inspired ticked both boxes.”

The advert helped showcase new additions, like the Adventure Mini Golf and Adventure Mini Village.

Mike McDonald, Business Development Director at Inspired, said: “Working on this project was a dream for us, as a local lad myself I first went to Waterworld over 30 years ago.

“It is a Staffordshire institution and to produce a national television campaign for them is something we are very proud of.

“We hit it off with Shanie and the team straight away, although it is a major attraction it still feels very much like a family business and that is the type of culture we have at Inspired too.

“Waterworld had lots of ideas but gave us some creative freedom too and we were all really happy with the finished content.”
