A cinematic treat is coming to Newcastle-under-Lyme tomorrow as the town centre hosts a day of outdoor summer screenings.

The free event organised by Newcastle-under-Lyme BID, features four blockbuster films being shown throughout the day.

People are being invited to bring blankets, picnic chairs, and refreshments on the town’s High Street for a day of outdoor cinema.

The family friendly films featured are Jungle Book, The Goonies, The Greatest Showman and Dirty Dancing.

The Outdoor Summer Screenings are part of our broader “Castle Summer” initiative, a month-long series of events organised by the BID team and funded by town centre businesses.

They also include pop-up park activities, doggy dates and a dog-friendly campaign launch and the Castle Food & Drink fest.
