Tourism-boosting workshops are being held for businesses in East Staffordshire.

Free training workshops to help businesses boost tourism

A series of free training workshops are being staged to help support tourism and visitor economy businesses throughout East Staffordshire. 

Four workshops will take place on two dates next month covering a range of topics providing staff with the core knowledge to help them attract more visitors and income. 

They are aimed at a wide range of businesses from small cafes to accommodation providers and large, busy visitor attractions. 

The workshops – announced by East Staffordshire Borough Council – are part funded through the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund and will be delivered by Epona Marketing, who have over 20 years’ experience working with visitor economy attractions. 

The events will also include break-out sessions, time to talk and share experiences with other delegates, and a copy of the presentation. 

The workshop details are: 

Marketing Masterclass and Sustainable and Responsible Tourism 

9am – 4.30pm, Tuesday, 10 September at Hoar Cross Hall, Burton upon Trent.
