A fully-funded women’s leadership programme for women is inviting applications for its third cohort.
The Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship for women initiative by two Staffordshire businesswomen is the first of its kind being levy-funded whilst being focused specifically on women advancing their careers.
The programme has demonstrated significant growth since its launch in April attracting a diverse array of women who are keen to enhance their leadership skills.
Monthly sessions will be held at the Strategi Solutions office in Newcastle-under-Lyme throughout the 14-month programme.
Participants also have coach to work with them throughout the period.
Only a few spots remain, and the programme – created by Wendy Dean of Strategi Solutions and Victoria Harte of Axia Solutions – will kick off with an induction in January 2025.
It is fully funded through the apprenticeship levy (£700 for non-levy payers) and supported by the Institute of Leadership and Development (ILM).
Michelle Hopper, Neighbourhood Delivery Manager at Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council and a participant of the first cohort, said: “The course is amazing, I have met a strong group of women leaders who are all looking at self-development, improving their skills, knowledge and understanding of what it takes to be senior leader. The team at Axia and Strategi have been nothing short of fantastic.”
