Workshops to help businesses understand net zero transitions

Workshops are being held to help Stafford Borough businesses understand how the transition to net zero might impact their organisation. 

Keele University is delivering a mix of in person and online workshops on behalf of Stafford Borough Council, fully funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. 

The workshops will cover: 

  • Understanding the net zero transition for SMEs 
  • Supporting their own organisation to be sustainable 
  • Building resilience in uncertain times 
  • Bringing staff on a sustainability journey 
  • Scope three emissions reductions 
  • Leadership on climate and energy 

A spokesperson said: “Participants of this short course will have the opportunity to build on Keele’s knowledge and shape their own pathway towards a resilient net zero future.” 

The dates and venues are: 

  • Thursday, 23 January (am) – Keele University 
  • Wednesday 12 February (am) – Eccleshall Cricket Club, Eccleshall 
  • Wednesday 26 February (am) – online
