A £1 million investment has been made into infrastructure and fleet at a provider of muckaway and waste management services.

Chesterton-based Tom Lees has acquired new operational premises in Talke to support its expanding client base and enhance logistical capabilities.

The new site offers increased space for vehicle storage, maintenance and office operations.

The company has also invested in more trucks, growing its fleet to 11 tippers.

Managing Director Tom Lees said: “Heading into 2025 we set out with ambitious plans to grow all sectors of our current operation. Investing heavily in our new haulage yard, while increasing our fleet 50 per cent in size by year end.

“This move enabled us to create additional operational capacity at our current Chesterton site to focus on our recycling sector.

“While we remain on track to achieve the planned expansion, we still have a lot of work to do. By year end if successful, we will achieve a 35 per cent increase in revenue, while cementing our position as one of the largest operators in the area.”

Commercial Development Manager David Cooper added: “This investment reflects both the demand for our services and our dedication to staying ahead of industry standards.

“The new premises and fleet will allow us to increase capacity, respond to customer needs, and continue providing a reliable and compliant muck away solution across the region.”

The company provides haulage, aggregates and muckaway services across Staffordshire and Cheshire.
