A national flooring retailer has invested £150,000 into opening a second Staffordshire store.
Flooring Superstore has created three jobs with a new 3,100 sq ft store on Horninglow Road in Burton upon Trent.
It is the retailer’s 47th store and the second to open in the county after arriving in Cannock in January.
The unit was previously occupied by Bathstore and forms part of an expansion programme being carried out by Flooring Superstore, which started life on a purely ecommerce platform in 2012.
Flooring Superstore Regional Manager Simon Forrester said: “After opening our first store in Staffordshire in January, it’s great to be able to follow this up so soon with another and for Burton to be our newest location.
“We couldn’t have selected a better location close to the town centre but also on the busy Horninglow Road and just seconds from the A35, giving us a very visible presence.
“We’ve already had great footfall into the store and are excited about introducing even more shoppers to our fantastic range of flooring products.”
