A new weekly and monthly events programme has been launched to further power networking, collaboration and growth in the Lichfield business community.
Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce has begun a monthly breakfast networking session at the council chamber of Lichfield District Council on the first Wednesday of each month, between 7am and 9am.
A co-working session is being held in the same place every Wednesday from 9am until 12pm.
The sessions aim to create an ongoing, welcoming hub for professionals, sole traders, freelancers, and business owners to come together, share ideas, and build stronger local networks across the city and beyond.
Chamber President Ruth Redgate, CEO of Hunnypot Cottage Bakery, said: “This move is about creating a reliable, accessible space where Lichfield’s diverse business community can grow stronger together.
“This initiative is a key part of our ongoing efforts to enable people to connect, share ideas, and to build partnerships that benefit the wider district.”
Lichfield District Council’s Councillor Richard Holland, Cabinet Member for High Street and Economic Development, added: “We’re delighted to support this initiative.
“Opening our space to host regular business networking and co-working reflects our ongoing support for the local economy and innovative collaboration.
“Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce’s new presence in the building, including the podcasting facility, brings fresh energy into our shared workspaces.”
Chamber members are encouraged to bring pop-up banners, flyers, or promotional material to the monthly breakfast events. Guests are also invited to bring their own breakfast to the morning networking events, while hot drinks will be provided.
The weekly co-working space is aimed at offering a calm and professional environment ideal for focused work, planning, or spontaneous conversation.
