Hydronics solutions specialist Altecnic has opened its new headquarters following a £25 million investment by its parent company Caleffi.
The substantial investment is said to reflect the company’s long-term confidence in the UK market and its continued commitment to delivering ‘the highest standards of customer service, innovation, and operational excellence.’
Altecnic, which supplies plumbing products and hot water heating systems, was previously located on Mustang Drive in Stafford, within the business park adjacent to the new site at Redhill Business Park, Staples Close.
Although it hasn’t moved far, the relocation has provided the firm with expanded warehouse space and enhanced office facilities, both to support current operations and to accommodate future growth.
Managing Director Gary Perry said: “By investing in a larger, purpose-designed site, we are not only increasing our operational efficiency but also sending a clear signal of trust in the market and in our people.
“It’s a statement to our customers, partners, and employees that Altecnic is investing in the future, creating a working environment that promotes innovation, collaboration, and long-term success.”
Altecnic currently employs 113 people in Stafford and chose to remain close to the county town in order to retain its skilled workforce.
Gary added: “This facility gives us the space and infrastructure we need to innovate, scale, and provide even better service to our customers. It also reaffirms our roots here in Stafford.
“We chose to stay local because our people are at the heart of this business. It’s been a smooth and carefully managed transition into the new headquarters. By planning each stage meticulously and involving teams across the business, we were able to move without disruption to day-to-day operations.”
