1 min read

A £55,000 investment has been made into a redesign at a popular Staffordshire hotel as it unveils a changed approach to its dining offer.

The restaurant and bar at The Moat House in Acton Trussell have been given a new look to create a more informal dining experience ‘designed with community at its core’.

The areas brought together as one space with the new look set to be unveiled on 18 September.

Work has included redecorating to balance’ tradition with modern warmth’ and the addition of new furniture.

A new menu championing British ingredients, local sourcing and bold seasonal flavour has also been launched.

Dishes include roast chicken and mushroom pie, beef cheek and massaman curry and steaks from Dunwood Farm, with candied apple and blackberry brioche bread pudding among the dessert options.

Emily Lewis, Operations Director at The Moat House, said: “This isn’t a reinvention, it’s reimagining.

“We’ve streamlined what we do to focus on relaxed, flavour-led food and a space where guests feel instantly welcome.

“It’s still us, just more in tune with how people want to dine today.”
