Masovia Craft Bakery brings a taste of Poland to Stafford

1 min read

A new Polish bakery in Stafford is hoping lure in customers with the promise of freshly-baked bread, an array of sweet treats, some healthy options and a warm welcome for all.

Masovia Craft Bakery opened on Gaolgate Street earlier this week offering fresh bakes straight from the oven.

The bakery is part of a group of eight across the West Midlands and this is its first venture in Staffordshire.

Masovia’s sandwiches have been popular in the first week of opening.

Manager Monika Miri says she has been looking forward to bringing a taste of Poland to Stafford and being part of the town’s next chapter following the launch of a number of new businesses there in recent weeks.

Monika moved to London from Poland 19 years ago and arrived in the West Midlands earlier this year.

She told Daily Focus: “Everything comes from our own bakery. We have soughdough, Polish pizza bread, pastries and cakes. People can sit inside to eat and drink or take their purchases away.

“We have been very busy since opening. Customers love our sandwiches which come with plenty of salad and we have other healthy options too – all without lots of additives.”

Monika added: “The people of Stafford are lovely. They have been very kind to us so far and we have been greeting everyone with a warm welcome.”

Treats on the counter this week have included filled doughnuts, fruit tarts, pastries and eclairs.
