Organisers ‘blown away’ by nominations for 2025 LoveNUL Business Awards – and voting is now open

More than 40 businesses, people and organisations have made the shortlist for an awards scheme celebrating the best in Newcastle-under-Lyme with voting now underway to determine the winners.

Newcastle-under-Lyme BID received more than 650 individual nominations for more than 120 local businesses and people nominated across 11 categories for this year’s LoveNUL Business Awards 2025.

The scheme is returning for a third year highlighting those who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional experiences to customers and clients.

Public voting is open until Monday, 29 September.

A lifetime achievement award will also be presented to recognise an individual’s long standing dedication that leaves a lasting legacy for people, place and Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Charlotte Pearce, Newcastle-under-Lyme BID Manager, said: “We’re blown away by the incredible response to this year’s awards. The number of submissions exceeded all expectations.

“It’s been heartwarming to see not just the public’s engagement, but also how excited the businesses themselves are about the awards. In a time of change for our high streets, it’s important to recognise the businesses that consistently deliver outstanding service and enrich the lives of both residents and visitors in Newcastle.”

The award ceremony will take place at NSCG Performing Arts Centre on Friday, 10 October when Newcastle-under-Lyme BID will also showcase its current and future initiatives for 2026-2031.
