1 min read

Extensive works totalling £1 million have taken place at Leek College.

The college officially joined the Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) in August and work including upgrading classrooms with new resources, modern furniture and IT equipment took place over the summer.

Significant improvements have also been made to the IT infrastructure and telephony systems and a wide-scale redecoration programme also took place.

Craig Hodgson, Principal and CEO at NSCG, said: “Leek College has a long and proud history within the local community and we are delighted to be building on that legacy now that it is part of the NSCG family.

“This £1 million investment demonstrates our commitment to providing first-class facilities and resources for learners in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

“We are excited to begin this new chapter and to work closely with staff, students and the wider community to shape a bright future for Leek College.”
