Leek’s Mosaic Boutique has picked up an award for its support and commitment to raising funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

The popular clothing store has run various events in aid of the good cause in recent years, including fun fashion shows.

The latest total showed the team had raised nearly £34,000 since 2024, including £9,000 from a fashion show in April. Another event was held last week raising £10,800.

The ladies fashion shop is fronted by Steve Lanza and Jason Smith and the win was announced at the cause’s Saving Lives Charity Ball, which honoured individuals, fundraisers, volunteers and corporate partners who have made its lifesaving missions possible.

Jo Bailey, group events lead for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We’re continually inspired by the courage and determination shown by our winners. The Saving Lives Charity Ball always brings an unforgettable atmosphere, and this year was no exception.

“It was a powerful reminder of just how deeply our communities stand with us, from volunteer stories to fundraising champions, it’s a celebration of everyone who makes our lifesaving missions possible, and we are immensely proud of all our deserving winners.”

The Sheep Market shop soared to success during the Covid pandemic when it began to host weekly entertaining online fashion shows, which continue to be popular five years on.
