An entrepreneur who secured funding from the BBC show Dragon’s Den will lead four free workshops for Staffordshire businesses planning to kickstart growth in 2026.
Peter Bayley-Hill secured £30,000 from Deborah Meaden in the 2018 series of Dragon’s Den for his innovative pet products.
He then went on to launch a career as an inspirational speaker and business leader, now known as Peter the Speaker.
His interactive workshops in collaboration with Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub will focus on key business skills, with group activities designed to embed learning and build confidence in putting new skills into practice.
Growth Hub manager Rachel Wood said: “Having previously collaborated with Peter, we are delighted to welcome him back to Staffordshire and offer businesses in the county the opportunity to learn from his wide-ranging knowledge and unique insights.
“The sessions are fully funded and we’re encouraging businesses to express an interest now and lay the foundations for a fantastic start to the new year.”
Entrepreneurs can sign up for one or all of the workshops, which are being held at Stafford Rugby Club between 9.30am and 12.30pm on each day.
