Housebuilder Owl Homes is celebrating a record year of trading.
The Tamworth-based firm exceeded its financial targets recording record revenue which surpassed its previous best by more than 20 per cent, and recorded an above target 120 home completions, although full financial figures have not been disclosed.
During the same period, its team grew to more than 60 people with new jobs created in the technical, land, finance, buying and commercial departments.
Customer satisfaction rates stood at 98 per cent of homeowners saying they would recommend the company.
Managing Director Mike Kelly said: “This has truly been a record-breaking year of growth and teamwork. Across the business, our entire team has stepped up to deliver more new homes than ever before.
“We have refreshed our branding and marketing presence, introduced new showhomes and sales suites to better support the customer journey; maintained the highest standards of construction, with our site manager, Chris Williams winning a second successive NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award; and we have continued to expand our portfolio with new site acquisitions and planning consents.”
Owl has confirmed it will launch two new showhomes in the first quarter of this year – one in Leicestershire and one in Warwickshire.
These will be followed by the launch of three new developments in Chesterfield, Droitwich and Madeley, Staffordshire.
Mike added: “We have great momentum to start the year and are excited to not only open the doors on two expertly designed showhomes but also bring the Owl brand to new locations, including Madeley, which marks the largest site acquisition in Owl’s history. This will deliver 188 homes in collaboration with our sister company, Owl Partnerships.
“These land acquisitions mark significant steps forward in our long-term growth plan and ensure a positive future.”
Other Owl milestones last year included the firm’s 10th anniversary and completing its 1,000th home.
