Stoke-on-Trent firms strike Middle East training deal

1 min read

Two Stoke-on-Trent firms both led by ex-armed forces personnel have signed a strategic partnership which will see them deliver health and safety training in the Middle East.

The deal will see You Can Do It deliver health and safety training to Black Onyx Concept’s clients in the Gulf states.

Jon Taylor, managing director of You Can Do It, a former seniors aircraftsman in the RAF, said: “This brings together two Stoke-on-Trent organisations with strong service-led and military backgrounds and a common belief that training should create real opportunities, not just tick boxes.”

You Can Do It, headquartered in Birches Head, has recently been awarded a Coursecheck Brilliance Badge 2026 for Outstanding Training Quality, a recognition awarded exclusively to training providers who achieve an average rating of 4.9 stars or higher based on verified learner reviews throughout the year.

Black Onyx focuses on ensuring the safety, efficiency, and operational excellence of businesses and organisations across various business sectors.

Alongside its training delivery, Black Onyx Academy is actively engaged in community initiatives aimed at tackling knife crime and supporting young people.
