Countryside pub reopens after six-figure revamp

1 min read

A traditional countryside pub has reopened following a six-figure top-to-bottom renovation.

The Holly Bush, a Chef & Brewer pub in Little Hay, Lichfield, has undergone an interior refresh with vibrant décor, new furniture and lighting and an enhanced bar.

A significant investment has also been made to its exterior with the installation of fresh fencing, new planters and upgraded outdoor furniture creating a ‘cosy’ garden spot. Meanwhile, the patio area at the back of the pub has been extended to create more space.

The pub, which reopened after a near four-week closure with a new kitchen management team, also has an extended drinks offering.

General manager Ryan O’Callaghan is leading the pub into its newest chapter having joined the Holly Bush team earlier this year.

He said: “The Holly Bush is a wonderful pub in the heart of the local community in Lichfield, and it’s a real hotspot for dog walkers, families and locals.

“Following a six-figure refurbishment, we’re proud to be able to showcase some major improvements both inside and out, combining the pub’s traditional feel with stylish furnishings and modern touches, ensuring the perfect countryside setting for guests to meet up with loved ones and enjoy a delicious pub meal or weekend tipple.

“We can’t wait to welcome both new and familiar faces to experience the Holly Bush’s hospitality!”
