A Cumbria-based branding specialist has opened a major new operational base in Stoke-on-Trent to take advantage of the city’s transport links.
Ast Signs Ltd, founded in 2002 by managing director Mark Aston, says the move will support faster turnaround times and enhanced service for customers nationwide. The business specialises in transport branding, signage, workwear, commercial interior design and acoustic solutions.
The new facility, based in Whieldon Road, brings together offices, manufacturing and fitting capabilities and will see Ast working in partnership with TIP Group and its trailer refurbishment operation in Stoke.
The expansion further strengthens Ast’s strategic presence along the M6 corridor, alongside its headquarters in Penrith and established base in Warrington.
Mark Aston said: “With increasing demand for our services, the opening of our Stoke base is much needed. It’s a major step forward for Ast and an important part of our long-term growth plans.
“Having facilities in Penrith, Warrington and now Stoke gives us fantastic coverage along the M6 corridor and allows us to support customers even more efficiently nationwide.
“Our partnership with TIP is an exciting opportunity and the new site gives us additional manufacturing and fitting capacity as demand for our services continues to grow.”
