Cannock-based business Euro-Matic is celebrating a double success after securing two major industry awards on the same evening.
The company was named Small to Medium Business of the Year at the Express & Star Business Awards before also taking home the Association of Indoor Play’s Best Supplier Award.
Founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife team Paul and Helena King, Euro-Matic began at the kitchen table and has grown into an international supplier now passing £1 million turnover, serving customers across leisure, manufacturing and water infrastructure.
The business imports and distributes specialist hollow plastic balls manufactured in Budapest and operates with a small team made up of the founders, one direct employee and four external staff.

Express and Star Awards judges praised Euro-Matic’s clear strategy, customer-first approach and carefully scaled growth.
Owner and commercial director Helena King said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won both the AIP Best Supplier Award and the Express & Star Best Small Business Award. To receive recognition from both our industry and the wider business community means a huge amount to us.
“These awards are a real testament to the hard work, commitment and passion of our whole team, as well as the continued support of our customers, suppliers and manufacturing partners. We are incredibly proud of how far Euro-Matic UK has come, and this recognition gives us even more motivation to keep growing, innovating and delivering the best possible service.”
Daily Focus recently reported that Helena was invited to Downing Street as the Government introduced what it described as the ‘largest crackdown on late payments in more than 25 years.
