A new employability course has been launched to help Staffordshire residents on their way to better careers.
LaunchPad is designed to equip learners with the practical skills, confidence and tools to secure employment and enjoy long lasting careers.
The two-day programme covers topics including CV writing, interview techniques, confidence building and job expectations.
The course is being delivered by Stoke on Trent College, as patron of LaunchIt Stoke-on-Trent, which works with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and local trustees to boost skills within the community.
It is to anyone aged 19+ who is unemployed.
Elliot White, Director of Innovation, Partnerships and Community at Stoke on Trent College, said: “LaunchPad is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through collaboration. Alongside tailored employability support, we have developed a new AI module that will help learners use emerging technology safely and confidently when searching for jobs, completing applications and preparing for interviews.
“We are incredibly proud to be helping local people develop the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly changing workplace.”
Sessions will be running in Longton and Burslem from now until July 2027.
